PACIFIC JAMBOREE AT MELBOURNE
ELEVEN SCOUTS CHOSEN FROM CANTERBURY For the selection of 11 scouts to reyresent Canterbury at the Pan Pacific amboree at Melbourne in December, 36 first-class Scouts attended a selection camp held during the week-end at “Cossgrove.” under Commissioner L A. G. McCulloch, camp chief. Troops from as far apart as Timaru and Kaikoura were represented, and the standard set by the boys made the work of the judges particularly difficult. The following were chosen: G. Hassell (St. Peter’s, Timaru), D. Millar and J. Greene (Highfield), K. Hurley (Marist). D. Dobson (St. Matthews), B. Garth (Kaikoura), B. Blackmoie (Endeavour), C. Mclntosh (New Brighton). L. Brown (Addington). N. Milne (Rapaki), L. Hobson (Woolston). Emergency, H. Jacobs (New Brighton).
