ATOMIC ENERGY RESEARCH
Continued Exchange Of Information BRITAIN, CANADA. AND U.S. (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 9 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 21. The United States, Britain, and Can-, ada were continuing to share technical information on atomic energy, said Mr David Lilienthal, chairman of the United States Atomic Energy Commission, speaking at the opening of the atomic energy exhibit at New York’s Golden Jubilee Exposition. While Mr Lilienthal did not say that the sharing of technical information did not include atomic weapons, the Associated Press learned from the commission that weapons are not included in the consultations. Mr Lilienthal, in fiis address, said that, recognising that mutual benefits had been obtained from war-time cooperation in atomic energy development, the three Governments concerned were continuing to utilise in an expanded way the co-operative principle in certain limited areas in which work, had been proceeding separately along’ the same lines in two or more of the three countries.
