BOBBY CALF MARKETING
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 5. Amended Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations gazetted this evening provide that where a saleyard is located in or near to a pool area the pool authorities may request the sole right to purchase bobby calves delivered to that saleyard. The current market value for bobby calves shall be received by producers forwarding the calves to the saleyard for disposal. Opportunity is provided for producers both in and out of pool areas to dispose of calves in the “off season” through their own marketing organisation.
