OUTBREAK OF PARALYSIS
WORST IN AMERICAN HISTORY (Rec. 7 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 16. Fifty new cases of infantile paralysis were reported in North Carolina today. making the total for the year 638. H'is the nation’s worst paralysis outbreak. Ihe National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis will send an epidemic lid team to North Carolina next week. The Red Cross has announced that ft has recruited 450 nurses to aid in North Carolina and the Middle West.
