WOODWARD CUP WAITIKIRI MAINTAINS LEAD Waitikiri maintains its one-point lead in the inter-club competition for the Woodward Cup, the last round of which will be played next week-end. If Waitikiri wins, or even halves, in the game against Christchurch B, the club will win the cup k If it loses, Waitikiri will have to play off against Christchurch A. On the same day as the final round of the Woodward Cup the winners of the Northern section (Waitikiri) will play the winners of the Southern section (Hagley) for the Blank Cup.
