AIR FORCE WINS CONTEST AMONG SERVICES
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 22. Air Force dominated the inter-services championships held at Wellington on Saturday. Final points were: Air Force 104, Navy 18, Army 13. Three Air Force athletes, Herman (discus). Tagelagi (javelin), and Thompson (hop, step and jump), set new’ records. The women’s events were a triumph for D. Dando (Army), who easily won the 75 yards and 100 yards, and the long jump. Points in the women’s section were: Army 30, Air Force’ll, Navy 4. The following were winners:—

Bridge (Air Force), 18.1 sec. One mile cycle: D. B. Pollard (Air Force), 3min Isec. 880 Yards cycle: D. B Pollard (Air Force) and G. F. Barnes (Air Force), equal, Imin 12.3 sec. Pole vault: A, J. Tiller (Air Forge), Sft 6in. High jump: B S. Belcher (Air Force), sft sin. Discus: D. H. Herman (Air Force). 116 ft lin. Shot put: D. U. Herman (Air Force). 42ft. Javelin: J.
