AMERICAN MINE STRIKE
EMBARGO ON COAL EXPORTS WASHINGTON, March 18. The United States Government has ordered a’virtual embargo on bituminous coal exports, and a 25 per cent, cut in the use of coal-burning passenger trains to meet the coal shortage threatened by the miners’ strike.
