NETHERLANDS AND ARGENTINA

EXCHANGE OF PRODUCTS OVER FIVE YEARS (Rec. 8.) BUENOS AIRES, March'lB. A five-year trade agreement between the Netherlands and Argentina was signed yesterday. It provided for the exchange of Argentine food, raw materials, and animal by-products for Dutch ships, dredging equipment and raw materials.

The transactions, it is estimated, will be valued at 31,375,000 dollars.

Argentina has agreed to provide the Netherlands with a credit of 125,00u,000 pesos. In addition, each nation has agreed to set up a rotating credit of 110.000,000 pesos, to cover the running expenses of the agreement. Holland and Argentina are obliged to buy a minimujn quantity of goods from each other each year.
