VENEZUELA SUPPORTS OTHER REPUBLICS INTEREST IN BRITISH GUIANA (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Mar. 9. “The Venezuelan Congress voted unanimously to-day to support Argentina, Chile, and Guatemala in their disputes with Britain over territories in the Westefri Hemisphere,” says the llnited Press of America correspondent in Caracas. “At the sarrie time, unconfirmed reports said that Venezuela would press her own long-standing claims on. British Guiana at the Western Hemisphere economic conference, opening on March 30 at Bogota, Colombia. “The President of the Venezuelan Congress (Mr Valmbre RodrigueZ) fbplying to a Note sent by Guatemala requesting support agdihst Britain, said that to-day’s Congressional action expressed the Unanimous desire of the Venezuelan people for thb liquidation, once and for all, of the remnants of colonialism ih America.”
