The British cruiser Nigeria returned tt-night from her ‘‘show the flag” cruise in Antarctic waters, reports Reuter’s correspondent at Port Stanley. in the Falklands. In a farewell speech, tn the ship’s company, the Goverridr of the Falkland Islands (Sir Miles Clifford) said them was ho doubt that the Cruiser’s visit had served d Useful pUtpbse. “It will have showfl that Britain wdn’t hestitate to send hef ships from one side of the seas to the other to protect her interests, while the immediate offers of assistance from the Dominions will also have given Argentina and Chile something to think about,” he skid.
