EXHIBITION MATCHES AT NELSON
(PA.) NELSON, Feb. 24. Australian and New Zealand ranking tennis players gave an exhibition at Nelson to-day. The weather was fine and the courts in good order. All the matches played were on a time limit basis. Results : Miss Attwood beat Miss Kerr, 6-0, 6-2; Miss Twomey-beat Mrs Newcombe, 7-5; Brown beat Dart, 6-2, 6-2; Miss Twomey and Mrs Newcombe beat Misses Attwood and Kerr, 6-4, 6-4; Brown and Dart beat Robson and Beecroft, 6-4, 6-1; Brown and Twomey v. Dart and Mrs Newcombe, 6-6 (unfinished).
