WATERSIDERS TO OBSERVE HOLIDAY
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, February 24. No work will be done on the Wellington waterfront on Thursday. It will be observed as a holiday although the transport workers’ picnic, which was to have been held, has been cancelled. A decision to this effect was reached at a meeting of the Wellington central committee of waterfront unions.
