COMMUNIST ATTACK ON MR BEVIN
LONDON. January 10. Mr. Harry Pollitt, secretary of the British Communist Party, told a press conference in Milan that the Foreign Secretary (Mr Ernest Bevin) was the “principal architect of the disastrous British foreign policy.” Mr Pollitt added: “His removal from office should be the first step towards the reorganisation of the Labour Government. So long as he remains the danger of war and misery remains.”
