GOLDEN WEDDING

MR AND MRS A. LOVE Mr and Mrs A. Love, 225 Hills road, Shirley, celebrated their golden wedding recently. They were entertained at a gathering held at the home of their daughter, Mrs J. E. Harris. Mr Love has spent most of his life in farming. In 1897 he bought part of the Glenmark estate' at Waikari and farmed it for seven years. He then bought a larger block of the same estate at Omihi, where he farmed until his retirement about four and a half years ago. Mr and Mrs Love were married in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Geraldine. by the Rev. A. B. Todd. They have four daughters, two sons, and 15 grandchildren.
