SEARCH FOR MAN MISSING FROM GREYMOUTH
Exhaustive inquiries by the police have failed to reveal the whereabouts of Mr Thomas Barry, aged 62, of Thompson street, Greymouth, who has been missing since last Sunday. A hat picked up on the Greymouth waterfront near the dredge berthage has been identified as that regularly worn by Barry, and it is thought that he may have fallen into the Blaketown lagoon nearby. The lagoon was dragged yesterday, but there was ho trace of his body.
