SYDNEY’S OLD PILOT STEAMER SUNK.—The sea scouts’ training-ship Captain Phillip (better known as the former Sydney pilot vessel Captain Cook) was sunk last Friday 17 miles from Sydney Heads. She is shown making her final plunge. The Captain Phillip was 55 years old, and, as the Captain Cook, was well-known to visitors to Sydney, where she served as pilot ship for 46 years.
