JEWS HELD AT LUBECK
RATIONS REDUCED TO GERMAN LEVEL (Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, October 3. The 4500 Jewish immigrants held near Lubeck have had their rations reduced from 2800 calories a day to 1550 calories, the normal German ration. The immigrants had been warned that their preferential ration would be discontinued if they refused to leave the camps. So far only two Jews have accepted the French Government’s offer to allow them to return to France.
