Association yesterday decided unanimously* to ask theTood Controller that the instruction for butchers to use 10 per cent. ofFozen meat in their quotas be waived; It was stated that some traders h» found it hard to sell their juotas, and that others had refused^ 0 handle it because of the prejudjß of customers. It was also agreedthat frozen meat was hard to sell inwarmer weather. Aftel the meeting the president of the CAterbury Master Butchers’ Associate (Mr E. R. Blanchard) said that H personally was able to sell hig frozen meat, but he understood that other futchers had to face several pro- 1 blemstt dealing with it. Not the least of ths e was prejudice. Apart from that. > was necessary to secure good; qualifmeat from the freezing works,l there was not much point in trying to sell it.
