VITAL STATISTICS

Births registered at Christchurch for the nine months ended yesterday showed a substantial increase on the figures for the corresponding period in 1946. Marriage notices, marriages by registrar, and deaths all showed a decrease. The figures for the period ended yesterday, which were given by the registrar (Mr A. A.
