NEW VALUES OF MEAT COUPONS

From to-day, H or J meat coupons entitle persons eating in hotels and restaurants to two meals of rationed meat. The 3d coupons are available for one meal.

Defining the new values of meat coupons, the Food end Rationing Controller (Mr A. J. Costelloe) said that H or J coupons could be cut in two diagonally, and each half surrendered for one meat meal. This applied only to meals of rationed meat bought in hotels and restaurants. Cut H or J coupons must not be tendered by the public when buying supplies from butchers
