Kerr (Otago), on the right, hooking a right to the jaw on S. Stevens (Manawatu) in the semi-finals of the light-weight championship. Stevens won this bout and in the final beat B. Eder (Greymouth). RIGHT: P. Gallagher (Wellington) evades a left-hand punch by R Clarke (Auckland) in the semi-finals of the light heavy-weight championship. Clarke was the winner. In the final he beat B. Broughton (Wairarapa).
