CONCLUDING DAY’S AWARDS From Our Own Reporter

GREYMOUTH, Sept. 5. The Greymouth Competitions Society concluded its thirty-third annual festival at Grey mouth to-day at the Lyceum Hall. The demonstration concert this evening was well attended, and the presentation of trophies was made by the president (Mr M. B. Charteris). Final awards to-day were:— Song and Dance, 13 years and over (1). —Lorraine Graham, 79 points, 1. Character Duo, under 13 years (2). — Peggy Guy and Jill Ormandy (Christchurch), 79 points, 1; Zelda Cleghorn and Leola Goodall, 78, 2. Sword Dance, 10 years and under 13 (12).—Stewart Bridger (Green Island), 78 points, 1; Josephine Pickens (Christchurch), 77, 2; Leola Goodall, 76, 3. Skipping Dance, under 10 years (10). Janette Ellis (ChriSfcchurch), 76 points, 1; Carel Chaplin, 74, 2; Janice Barnard (Christchurch) and Valerie Harris, 73 (equal) 3.
