CHRISTCHURCH-UNITED CLUB The success of last season was shown in the annual report, said Mr James Mackenzie, who presented club trophies? at the annual meeting of the ChristchurchUnited Amateur Swimming Club. The following officers were elected:— patron, Mr James Mackenzie; president. Mr J. R. Buchanan; club captain Mr R Hatchwell; junior captain, Mr J. Laurie; women’s captain, Miss B. Owens; secretary, Mr R. K. Wood; treasurer Mr G. R. Laurie; committee, Messrs H Goldsmith, T. Champion, G. Cox, G. Brockett, A. Chappell, A. Stewart. M. Mitten, B. Samson, and Miss T. Halcrow; delegates to Canterbury Centre, Messrs R K. Wood. G. R. Laurie, R. D. Brown; auditor, Mr C. H. White.
