FRENCH TO CONTINUE INDO CHINA WAR

PARIS, August 27. The French Minister of Information (Mr Pierre Bourdan) announced after a Cabinet meeting that the IndoChina war would continue until more favourable circumstances for negotiations arose. Mr Bourdan said that the High Commissioner in Indo-Chtea (Mr Emile BoJaert) would shortly appeal to the better judgment of the guerrilla leaders. The French would treat with the leader who had the best chance of bringing peace.
