SOLDIERS’ LAND BALLOT

SETTLEMENT AT SPRING CREEK

The successful applicant in the soldiers’ ballot held yesterday for the Spring Creek farm settlement, of 336 acres, situated in Methven road, approximately five miles east of the Methven township, was Mr C. L. Winn, of Lyndhurst. There were 32 applicants from returned servicemen tor the settlement. The Montalto farm settlement of 556 acres is to be balloted for next Monday, the successful applicant to have the option of lease or purchase of the property. Applications for this property close to-morrow. ■
