With the exception of the New Lynn Hurdles the fields are’ good, and there should be some keen racing. The following horses are likely to be favoured:— 10.40 a.m.—First Waitemata Handicap: Bustany, Gay Ranee, Happy Fox. 11.20 a.m.—Nev/ Lynn Hurdles: Sir Fox, Emada, British Mint. 12.5 p.m.—Second Waitemata Handicap: Master Dink, Our Dave, Horonui. 12.55 p.m.—Churchill Handicap: Leigh Hark, Our Gold, Ruling Master. 1.40 p.m.—Whau Steeplechase: The Dozer, Gold Spot, Royal View. 2.25 p.m.—Victory Handicap: Beb, Master Dink, Foxrose. 3.10 p.m.—Bledisloe Hurdles: British Talent, Duncan, Lotto. 4 p.m.—Telegraph Handicap: Our Bridge, Master Ted, Black Ace. Avondale Scratchings Avondale scratchings posted to-day are: First Waitemata Handicap, Ranger Boy at 12.30 p.m. Second Waitemata Handicap, General Pay at 12.40 p.m. Bledisloe Hurdles, St. Nat at 3.50 p.m.—(P.A.)
