PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given!that it is the intention of the Waipara County Council, at its next meeting to be held on the 11th day of August, 1947, to make and levy a GENERAL RATE of One and one-fourth pence in the Pound on the Capital Value of all the rateable property appearing upon the Valuation Rolls of the Waipara County; a SPECIAL RATE of Twopence and twenty-five-thirty-seconds of a penny in the Pound on the Capital Value of all the rateable property in the Lake SUmner Special Rating Area; a SPECIAL RATE of Threefourths of a penny in the Pound on the Capital Value of all the rateable property in the Stony hurst Special Rating Area; and a SEPARATE RATE of Three-fourths of a penny in the Pound* on the Capital Value of all the rateable property in the Horsley Downs Drainage and Water Supply Area; SUCH RATES to be for the period of 12 months commencing on the Ist day of April, 1947, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1948, and shall be payable in one sum at the County Offices at Waikari on the 25th day of August, 1947.
