FLYING-BOAT FORCED BACK TO SYDNEY
(Rec. 12.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 3. Thirty passengers, including the eight remaining members of the All Black Rugby team, flew for 500 miles across the Tasman to-day, and then returned to Sydney. The commander of the ftying-boat received a forecast at bad weather from Auckland, and decided to return to Sydney rather than take the risk of the Auckland base being closed down by the weather.
