MUNITIONS FOR CHINA
GENERAL MARSHALL DEFINES POLICY
(Rec. 10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 2. The sale of 130,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition to the Chinese Government did not indicate that the United States was prepared to support that Government in its civil war against the Communists, said the United States Secretary of State (General Marshall) to-day. He declined to comment on recent military and political developments in China.
