PLAYERS FOR SOUTH ISLAND TEAM NOMINATED The following players were nominated for the South Island hockey team at a meeting of the executive of the Canterbury Hockey Association:—E. Parratt, W. Morris, C. V. Walter. T. E. Eggleton, J. Grimley. E. Thomas, R. Calvert. J. Reece, and N. Wales. It was decided that because of the bad state of the playing areas, the four grounds at Burwood should be used for the remainder of the season by all grades in turn, starting with senior games on Saturday. July 12. |
