TO STUDY IN THE UNITED STATES.—Mr J. A. Pollok (left), of Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, and Mr C. R. Bradwell, of Canterbury University College, who have been nominated for American field service scholarships. Mr Pollok will proceed to Yale University, Connecticut, where his post-graduate work will be the intensive study of forest soils. Mr Bradwell’s advanced study, at Dickinson College, Pennsylvania, will be history and world affairs.
