ADDRESS TO ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS’ SOCIETY

A well-attended meeting of the Christchurch Accountant Students’ Society was addressed on Tuesday evening by Mr B. J. Drake, lecturer in Law and Accountancy at Canterbury University College, on the topic “Law and the Accountant.’’

The speaker dealt with the branches of law not covered by the student of accountancy and illustrated his remarks as to the technique and development of law by reference to decisions covering different branches of law, including negligence, domicile and divorce, criminal law and libel.
