HOME SECRETARY REPLIES TO CRITICS (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, June 10. The Home Secretary (Mr J. Chuter Eae), replying to members of the House of Commons who Jiad questioned the legality of deporting Poles from Britain to'Germany, claimed a perfect right to deport any undesirable alien to any country willing to receive him. He could not continue maintaining notorious criminals” just because they tried to suggest that their political and religious views, if any, would make them non-acceptable in Poland. Mr Chuter Ede added that 105 Poles had already been sent to Germany because they refused either to join the Resettlement Corps and work or re T turn t to Poland. They were free to go to any country that would take them.
