PLANTS TO BE KEPT OR REMOVED DECISIONS BY ALLIED COMMISSION (Rec. 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 9. The Far Eastern Commission to-day published its decisions on the selection of Japanese plants for reparations, removal and destruction, or retention in Japan. Security and industrial disarmament requirements must be considered in every case, and facilities which were employed in primary and secondary war industries, as well as those ia war-supporting industries, should be removed. In reference to others, the commission decided that removals should be made, first, from plants and equipment owned by the Zaibatsu concerns and other big companies, and. second, from the holdings of other Japanese nationals and the Government, as well as those nationals and governments who were Japan’s allies.
