LYTTELTON NEWS
WATER SUPPLY Pipes for an additional water main to be laid through the Lyttelton railway tunnel have come to hand and the work of laying them will be begun by the works staff of the Lyttelton Borough Council within the next few days. The main will carry water from the council’s reservoir at Heathcote' to the reservoir at Exeter street, Lyttelton. The work will be done when trains have finished running at night.
