Gift by Rockefeller.— -Mr John D. Rockefeller, jun., has given an entire block of Manhattan real estate, of an estimated value of 3,500,000 dollars, to the Memorial Hospital for the Treatment of Cancer and Allied Diseases. The property is 20 blocks north of the 8.500.000 dollar headquarters site which Mr Rockefeller presented to the United Nations earlier this vear. Mr Rockefeller. also this year, presented property worth 1.000.000 dollars to the Museum of Modern Art: The benefaction is one of Mr Rockefeller’s last substantial real estate holdings in Manhattan.—New York, June 8.
