Petra will play in the Davis Cup malch against Czechoslovakia beginning on June 13. Wimbledon begins on June 23.—London, June 8. Bluebird at Coniston Water. —The world’s first jet-propelled boat, Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Bluebird, has arrived at Coniston Water, in the Lakes District, where Sir Malcolm Campbell will attack his own speed record of 141 miles an hour.—London, June 8 Win for Lloyd Mangrum.— Lloyd Mangrum, with a score of 66, six under par, to-day won the 10,000dollar National Capital open golf tournament at Landover, Maryland. Mangrum’s total of 269’ was 19 under par for the 72 holes. It was his first major victory since winning the national open tournament in 1946 Skip Alexander and Ed Oliver tied for second place with 272.—New York, June 8.
