U.S. MARINES LEAVING PEIPING
(Rec. 7 p.m.) PEIPING, May 9. United States Marines to-day began to withdraw from Peiping, where, for 50 years, except for the Japanese occupation, they have been almost as much a part of the scenery as the rickshaw and the Imperial stone lions. The withdrawal from Peiping is expected to be completed in five days, and that from Tientsin in a month.
