" The Press ” Special Service DUNEDIN, May 6. About 55 tons of rabbit skins were offered at the fortnightly rabbitskin sale held to-day. Competition was again well spread. Prices for autumn skins were slightly easier than those ruling a fortnight ago Bloodstained grades also experienced a drop of about 12J per cent. The bulk of the offering comprised factory skins, but there was also a good offering of trappers’ skins and there were a few choice lines of autumn skins on offer The following is tne range ot prices:— Small, 30d to 48Jd per lb; runners, 80d to 84d; light racks. 92Jd to lOld; prime racks, 94Jd to 97d; dawny autumns, 119 d to 123 d; second early autumns, 130 d to 132 d; first early autumns. 138 d to 141 d; second late autumns. 136 d to 143 d; first late autumns, 148 d to 167 d; summers 60d to 73d; milky does, 50d to 51d: third broken, 60d to 68d; second broken, I2ld io 125 d. runners (blood stained), 64d to 684 d; racks (blood stained), 70d to 83Jd; autumn (blood stained), 126 d to 135 d spotty autumns. 122 d to 133 d: third late autumns. 127 d to 134 d; summer blacks. 72d to 73Jd; autumn blacks 113 d to 121 d: summer fawn, 77Jd to 78jd: autumn fawn, 122 d to 126 d; hareskins 931 d to 95Jd; first ferrets. 4s 2d to 4s lOd each: second ferrets. 6d to lid each: first stoats,. 5s LOd to 7s 9d each: second stoats, 5d to 6d each; horsehair. 34Jd to 35d per lb; deerskins, to 5s per lb. The next sale will be held on May 20.
