It is as important in peace as ever it was in war that women should find the opportunity as well as the desire to make their contribution to the welfare and to the service of the community. Hunt, and Miss M. G. Havelaar (Dominion president of the National Council of Women) will open the evening session with an address on “International Relations." Miss Mary McLean (president of the Christchurch branch of the National Council of Women) will preside at all sessions, during which 32 women speakers will address the gatherings Miss E. Hunt (Auckland), general secretary of the Theosophical Society, who will be one of the speakers at the forthcoming women’s rally, arrived in Christchurch from Auckland by air yesterdav and is the guest of the Misses Strachan Dvers Pass road.
