ELECTION OF VISITING STAFF COMMENT ON CRITICISM OF SYSTEM “The New Zealand method of electing visiting staffs of hospitals for a period of three years provides opportunities for recruiting valuable new men as they become available,” said the president of the Canterbury division of the British Medical Association (Dr. E. D. Pullon), commenting last evening on the criticism of the New Zealand system made at Auckland earlier in the week by the British gynaecologist. Sir William Fletcher Shaw. “Security of tenure for the individual doctor by the method at present in use m Britain of election up to the age of 60-65 years would not allow of opportunities,” Dr. Pullon said.
