POLAND’S DESTRUCTION
Sir,—Regarding the approaching elections in Poland, many of your readers are unaware that the present Government of Poland comprises selected adherents of Russia; and the latter are hypocritically, at present, determined to install a similar party that must take its instructions from Moscow. Is that honest? Would it be just that our New Zealand Government should be initiated by Russia, or Japan, and receive . their guidance from that particular party? No. We sometimes read in “The Press” of the • Polish Government taking sides on important questions relating to Polarfd, which is more or less humbug and deception. The Russian system of electioneering and voting is just another Moscow “puzzle." Why should Russia interfere with Poland? The elections are to take place on January 19, so we shall soon know who are to be the future managers of Poland.— Yours, etc.. JAS. HILL. Belfast, January 16, 1947.
