MONEY FOR NAZIS
Sir, —Some few weeks ago 1 had my interest stimulated by reading a letter in your paper about November 25 by W. J. Lambert (Westport), in which is made the astounding statement that Britain, under the Conservative Government, contributed £1,500,000,000 to Hitler and Nazi Germany, while more than 3,000,000 people in England were unemployed Now I would suggest to Mr Lambert that he forwards to you a letter stating definitely how that immense sum of money was raised and spent. He advised reading “Tory M.P.” I desire to thank him sincerely for that advice. It has been an eye-opener to me and several others whom I advised to read it.—Yours, etc. : JOHN MOODIE. January 15, 1947.
