M.C.C. TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND (P.A.) ’ AUCKLAND, January 13, Present indications are that there is every chance of a tour of New Zealand by the M.C.C. team at the finish of the fifth test match, which is due to end at Sydney on March 6. The principal obstacle facing the manager of the English -team and the New Zealand Cricket Council was the question of transport lor the team, which, together with officials, numbers 20.' An official of Tasman Empire Airways said torday that although bookings had not yet been received from agents there was nothing to indicate that there would be any hitch as far as passages for the M.C.C. players were concerned. The Englishmen should be ready to travel shortly after March 6. , Mr D. E. Wanklyn, chairman of the management committee of the New •Zealand Cricket Council, is in close touch with the management of the M.C.C. team, following his recent return from Australia, and is ready to put into operation plans for a Dominion tour as soon as arrangements have been completed.
