A HAPPY REUNION
OTAGO GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL One of the most successful 'of many reunions of Old Girls’ Associations held recently was the annual dinner party and entertainment given last night by the Christchurch branch of the Otago High School Old Girls’ Association. A large number of old girls of the school and a full representation of 18 kindred associations were welcomed by the president of the branch. Mrs E. Morris, who had the help of the honorary secretary, Mrs Stuart Young. Special guests were Mrs J. Roy Srilith. president of the Executive Council of Old Girls’ Associations, and Miss Mavis-Reese, honorary secretary of the council. The lounge at Hay’s, where the party was held, was decorated with white bowls of flowers of the school dolours—blue and white. After dinner, songs were sung by Mrs A. M. Lawn, for whom Mrs J. P. Stubberfield played the piano accompaniments; and a marionette show presented by Miss Ruth Collins. Mr and Mrs W. D. Dean, and Mr J. Hendry. Old Girls’ Associations of the following schools were represented at the pleasant party:—Austral-Girton, Avonside Girls’ High School. Children of the Sacred Heart, Christchurch Girls’ High School, Christchurch West High School. Columba, Nelson Girls’ College. Rangi-ruru, St. Dominies, St. Hilda’s. St. Margaret’s, St. Mary’s, Selwyn House, Southland Girls’ High School, Te Wai Pounamu. Timaru Girls’ High School, and Waitaki Girls’ High School.
