(P.A.) WELLINGTON. November 11. John O’Connor, aged 48, a clerk and labourer, admitted a charge of bookmaking in the Magistrate’s Court to-day, and was fined £l5O by Mr W. F. Stilwell, S.M. The police found him taking bets over the telephone on Saturday.
