RANGITATA TO CALL AT NAPLES

(F.A.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 3. FoJ-;the;first time for many years a passenger liner in the regular New Zealand to England l trade is listed to call at Naples on her homeward voyage. The ship is the New Zealand Shipping Company liner. Rangitata, which will begin loading at Auckland this week for London and sail on November 20 by way of Australia and Suez. •

Until more of the big liners of the England to Australia service are recommissioned, the companies trading to the Commonwealth and the' Dominion are to a certain extent pooling their resources to handle passenger traffic. This has resulted in another unusual shipping fixture. The Aberdeen and Commonwealth Line's 14,000-ton liner T,args Bay. which in normal times trades to Australia, will leave London towards the end of this month for Auckland, via Suez. Aden, Colombo, Melbourne, and Sydney. She will arrive early in January with cargo for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton. and Dunedin, one of the few outside liners to carry shipments to all four main ports since the end of the war.
