PETROL RATIONING IN AUSTRALIA
N.Z. SYSTEM MAY BE INTRODUCED
(Rec. 11.30 p.m ) CANBERRA- Oct. 30. If the British Government Is agreeable the New Zealand system of petrol rationing will be introduced in Australia as soon as possible. The Minister of Supply (Senator W. P. Ashley) has cabled the British Government saying that the Federal Government is anxious to abolish the present form of petrol rationing and introduce the New Zealand system.
