BRADMAN TO PLAY AT MELBOURNE
AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN SELECTED (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) ADELAIDE, October 30. D. G. Bradman has been selected in the Australian eleven to play the M.C.C. at Melbourne from November 8 to November 12. This is interpreted to mean that he intends to be available for selection in the first test in Brisbane beginning on November 29. The Australian eleven will be as follows:—D. G. Bradman (South Australia). J. Ellis, C. V. McCool (Queensland), F. Freer. M. Harvey. A. L. Hassett, K. R. Miller (Victoria), A. Morris, J. Pettiford. R. Saggers (New South Wales), C. Puckett (Western Australia). Twelfth man, G. Tribe (Victoria) . Most of the players will be under trial as test prospects, and it is noticeable that a number of certainties have been omitted.
