Fire in Roof of House.-

—A small fire

in the roof of a house owned by Mr F. W. Dunnage, of 456 Papanui road, was extinguished by the Christchurch Fire Brigade yesterday. The alarm was given at 12.16 p.m. The house is a two-storey wooden one, with a slate roof, and it was thought that the fire was caused by a spark from the chimney lodging underneath the slates. There was slight damage to the contents of several rooms.
